How It Works

.

iStock_000015030523XSmallIt’s easy! You complete our online submission form and check out. Within 48 hours, your USPAP-compliant appraisal signed by a qualified appraiser will be transmitted via email in the report format you have chosen.

Scope of work and methodology: Our appraiser identifies and determines worth based on the item’s value-relevant characteristics provided by the client via photographs and information entered in our submission form. Online appraisals take into account the limiting condition that the appraiser did not personally inspect the property leading the appraiser to make “extraordinary assumptions”. These will be included in your report.

Appraisals are opinions based on documented market data. The appraiser will provide an opinion of value ranges reflecting the property’s fair market value (what a seller most often accepts and a buyer most often pays for comparable items, often within the online or onsite auction markets) as well as its replacement value (what the seller would probably have to pay from within the retail market to replace the subject item with a comparable item within a reasonable amount of time from within the most convenient marketplace.)

Zeitgeist Artifacts’ iValue appraisers (or ANY appraiser, for that matter) cannot guarantee that an item will be sold for the appraised amount (items may sell for more or less), nor that a comparable item can be purchased for the appraised amount (a buyer might have to pay more or less).
